Reputations: Alfred Hitchcock (Episode 2 - Hitch: Alfred The Auteur)

In this part of the BBC documentary Reputations, we move into Hitchcock's prolific period of his career, with masterpieces such as Rear Window, Vertigo and Psycho. His recognition amongst film critics as an auteur is covered with the famous interview he conducted with Francois Truffaut. His relationship with Tippi Hedren is also discussed, with the films The Birds and Marnie. There is also a look into one of his abandoned movies called Kaleidoscope Frenzy, which if released, would have been his most controversial work.
